A PC or computer? Just kidding.

Years ago, when I was young you could use a floppy disc and transfer the ascii files at your PC to the disk and then convert them to binary Fuji format on the MCS-16 and MCS-30.

You may have to format and then prepare the disc on the MCS controller prior to doing this using the menu options on the controller. It has been many years.

Then you would copy the ascii files on your PC to the disk.

Then I think you type :spchm "your program file name" "space" -r "space" +e911 (this may not be correct) to convert them to Fuji binary format and enable them for editing and transferring to the machine.

I can not remember the exact typing command.

You can also convert them from binary back to ascii by switching the spchm to spcmh

You may have to call Fuji on the :spchm or :spcmh or someone else here with better memory can correct me. I remember the space bars in the command have to be correct.

We used this to take old Mitron/Cimbridge ascii files from our desk to run on Fuji MCS-30
