Tape Splicing Joint Sensor for Panasonic Sensors | 16 September, 2013

Hello,

We have currently Pick and place machine (Panasonic) with tape splicing joint sensor,the issue is, that once we want to change tape splicing for costs reason, the sensors don't detect any tape splicing .Is there anyone from Panasonic to explain to as how does this sensor work?and is there any parametrs to change in order to make it detet new splicing tape?

Hello, its simple the Panasonic tape is encoded, the non original splice tape you try to replace is not coded hence error on feeder sensor. we offer Panasonic replacement splice tape, for a sample please contact the office, hope this helps Robi SmtXtra
