Best Peelable Masks for Wave Solder | 1 August, 2013

I am sick of Kapton. We have varying levels of leftover residues on multiple brands and I'm done chasing this thing.

We have tested some wave tapes that were total garbage in years past. Really don't want to go there.

Peelable liquid masks - Who makes a good material that will air cure, survive wave process and remove without visible residues left behind?

Best Peelable Masks for Wave Solder | 1 August, 2013

Techspray has a broad line of peelable solder masks. We use the Wondermask P for masking conformal coating as well. Call the company or rep to determine which product is best for you. I am not affiliated with Techspray in any way.

If you get tired of applying solder mask by hand, a number of board houses will put peelable solder mask on defined areas after fabrication. Hope this helps.
