Solder paste label | 9 April, 2013

Hello everyone,

I am curious if you label your solder paste jars with additional label. We want to use our own label showing when the paste was opened and how many hours it was exposed. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hola Evtimov, I do the same with my Solder Paste Jars, there is a label that is filled by the warehouse guy & by the line operator; time & date the jar arrived to plant, time & date the jar was taken to production line (out of the refrigerator) and time& date the jar was opened, that label is audited by QC to ensure paste has been handling according to our procedures, hope it helps.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. I was thinking to go even deeper by counting the hours the paste was exposed, but it probably doesn't make a lot of sense, especially considering the fact that my operators will add paste when the level goes too low. I will probably do the same as you do.
