This is a (Resistivity of Solvent Extract (ROSE) tester. Per IPC standards, ROSE testers use a test solution comprised of 75% IPA (99% pure) and 25% DI water.

You will also need a standardize solution to calibrate your 75/25 ips/DI mixture. Trek/westek is no longer, I think stoelting now supports the system though.

Your machine is a quality control tool. It's good for measuring trends, like the way that you use the scale in your bathroom. It's not intended to be an absolute measure.
