I am trying to find out the best way to determine the water quality in the tanks of our washer. We have a Trek Triton IV. I beleive there is a way to do a resistance test and that would give you a determination as to the quality of the water. Any and all info. would be appreciated.

Oooo, big bucks wusher!!!

Consider the SMTnet Archives a valued resource. For instance, look at: http://www.smtnet.com/Forums/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_thread&CFApp=1&Thread_ID=1632&mc=2

As far as your resistivity measurement is concerned, you have options. A few are: * Your water conditioner sales type [eg, Ion Pure, USFilter, who ever] should be able to add a cute little resistivity monitor to your last tank. This will give you a continuous read on the resistivity of your water. * MYRON L CO [http:// http://www.myronl.com] makes panel meters that you could add to your washer for monitoring waster resistivity. * MYRON L CO [http:// http://www.myronl.com] makes a "cup" resistivity meter than you could use for sample testing. * Trek [http://www.trek-ind.com/TRITON.HTM ], Im sure, will be e-static to add options to your machine.
