WORKING WITH A ICOM 5000 AND WHEN SETTING UP THE MACHINE TO TEST A BOARD THE MACHINE ASKS FOR BOARD SIZE AND COMPONENT AREA. i LOOKED THROUGH THE MANUAL AND CAN NOT FIND ANY REFERENCE TO THE COMPONENT ARE ISSUE. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? WHAT VALUE YOU DO I NEED TO PU IN THERE? I HAVE BOARDS THAT ARE 16 X 16 AND HAVE 15,000 COMPONENTS -- HARD TO MEASURE THE AREA FOR EACH ONE!!!

I'm looking for some help with my Ionic tester. It has been sitting for a while. We want to get it up and running. I don't have any tools with this. Does anyone know what material I need to get this to work? Solution..ect

The ICOM 5000 was made by Trek Industries. The company was purchased by Stoelting. I don't think they make or support these machines anymore.

By the way, the correct formula for area is Length X Width X 2 (X 1.3 or 1.5 based on component geography).
