With the help of the photo what would the little 90°coupler that joins the little (in diameter) hose to the solenoid that makes the squeegee go forwards and backwards. This is ex-second hand screen printer (SD-04-00) from Kontakt-Systems Ltd

That would be an air flow control valve used to adjust the speed of the squeegee. You can get them from Festo or I am sure that McMaster Carr carries them.

umm I think maybe I did not explain correctly, see at the (middle) right eye side of the picture, there is a hole with internal thread, I need (lets call it a “miniature elbow with bend”) to screw into the hole and attach the plastic tube. Thank you very much RLM for your help, sorry I put you to the trouble.

You need a fitting (brass or stainless steel. As mentioned above, McMaster Carr is one source. Look here http://www.mcmaster.com/#miniature-brass-barbed-tube-fittings/=iz8t1h You will need to know the thread.

The barbed fitting will work but you will lose all control over the speed of the cylinder. The air control flow valve is essentially the same as the barbed fitting but it allows the user to adjust the volume of air that is supplied to the cylinder which in turn controls the speed. Without it you will be applying full air pressure, probably around 80 psi to the cylinder. The fitting that is on the cylinder at the far left of the picture is what you need.

I was beginning to suspect what you have said when I think it is what is called a "flow control valve connection" it goes into a double acting cylinder? it needs to screw into M5 (metric 5mm)thread, the connector on the plastic hose is M7 nut,
