Hi,

my company is looking for SMT lines. Currently our target for reflow oven is Eightech Tectron Lead free and Heller 1809MK3. Kindly please share your comments of pros and cons of these machines. Also please recommend other brands and models. Thanks!

You might want to look at REHM. We just bought one and it's a very nice, well built oven. The install and training were great.

hi ,

we have Heller 1808 and I would say that is doing good job as oven. However for less than 3 years we had to replace 6-7 blowers. There are very nice machines in the market, but it really depends on you and how much money you are ready to spend.

Figured I'd chime in and throw BTU out there. Always had good experiences with them.

Rehm is good choice...uses higher grade materials and electrical parts , especially blowers (3 Phase), not the China Made blowers as use in Heller.

Most perople complain about blower failure on Heller... which is a cost in blowers but more issue of cost down time it causes...
