Subject: Assembly Drawing Software - Which one?
Hi, Everyone!
What do you use for Assembly Drawings?
I need Electronics Assembly Drafting software, and I am hoping to hear your recommendations.
The core functionality I need is the ability to translate X/Y coordinates (ASCII file) to my Gerbers and CAD data.
Along with manual entry for thru hole parts, and the addition of photos, of course.
Most of the end results look the same. Resistor 1234 is yellow, and you can see all its placements. Resistor 5678 is green, and shows up at all of its respective locations, etc.
Input data is my bill of material, XY data, and gerbers.
Hoping for one that can output to a PDF file.
I know that Aegis manufacturing software can do this, but I'm not a fan of their product. I've used it before, and thought it too expensive and quirky.
Ideas, please?
Thank you, I appreciate your help - Jason D.
