Can anyone help me recommend or simulate a SPI and AOI machine that can balance our FUJI NXT 1 with 14 modules. We are using MPM accela printer. 200 UPH is our target.

Here's the PCB dimension

length(x) = 399.92mm
width(y) = 141.626mm

Thanks all!

Not sure how many inspections need to be done at 15 - 20sec total per board, but you may need to install multiple SPIs/AOIs to hit your takt time.

      Hi Mike,

it must be 100% machine inspection.

If you need an inline SPI and an inline AOI later on,
    please contact us.

We have currently Cyberoptics SE300 and KS-Flex 12M.

    Thank you very much.

    Sincerely Yours

Anybody here work with Viscom S3088-II QS SPI?
I heard this machine offers an ultra high speed of inspection and a state of the art features.

We have been working with Orbotech P36+ but all we got is headache. A 2K US$ illumination board always fail after a 24/7 operation. Plus the fact that the SPI family of Orbotech ceased its development.

        Hi,

Orbotech actually sold it's division to ORPRO Vision. They development of the equipment is still progressing in both their Reflow inspection and SPI systems. Both have newer versions of software released and at the show in SanDiego they demonstrated a new benchtop solution.

        Development has not ceased.

We have a Viscom SPI S3054QS. Yup, the machine offers a quite good speed. My board dimension is 150 by 250mm. The cycle time is only about 24 sec. The analyze time is only about 10sec. You can make your loading faster, if that's what you needed. I have no experience with Orbotech. But there's one more good machine for SPI, it's Koh Young. Korean made. It is a 3D SPI, but of higher price than Viscom. Hope this will help.

I heard some of the manpower of KY transfer to VI technologies to introduce a new technology, same manner as of KY had.
This french owned company post an impressive Inspection machine ( Both AOI and SPI ).

Going back to ORBOTECH P36+, is there any bug fixes with the illumination board? If Yes, how can we contact you.

            Hi,

As stated above development of the systems we took over from Orbotech has not ceased.

I don't know which geographic region you are in, but your first contact should be either a Business Partner, or ORPRO Vision support direct in the region.

On http://www.orprovision.com under "About Us" you can find details of our Support offices, and Business Partners.

Otherwise, just let me know where you are, and I can send the relevant contact details.

            Best Regards

            Adam Shaw
