Subject: Convert .PAF in Standart Pick and Place Files
Hello
I'm searching for a Programm, that can convert .PAF-Files (Pick & Place Panasonic ASCII file format) to the Standart Pick and Place Format.
Do someone of you have something?
Thank you

Ok,I agree, you're right. I also noticed at the last few days, there is no standart format for it. What I'm searching is a programm, that can convert different files (for example a paf-file) into a textfile with Ref, Xpos, Ypos, deg and top/bottom.
For the few next weeks I could solve this problem with creating an output filter for the customer, which works with my Essemtec Placers.

Hi Fonsi,
If you can send a sample of the .PAF file, I can help you out by converting it to a generic text file which you can use to program any machine. If you can also send a sample of the format that your Essemtec uses, I can try to convert the .PAF file to the Essemtec format.
Since this forum is not a sales forum, let me clarify that the help will be free of any charges. You can send me the samples to vinit.verma@prosemtechnology.com
