We have an Orion which has been running very well. We just started to run production of a board with NO changes from the last run about one month ago. Today, however, the vision system is not recognizing parts. The scan image on the monitor looks good. During parameter search, the part is recognized at the higher levels, and drops off as the light is lowered, all fine, then when you re-scan based on this optomized information the parameter test fails. This is on most if not all components. Any suggestions on trouble shooting this?

Not familiar with Philips machines but have had similar problem: If Philips uses fiber optics and halogen bulbs for lighting in the vision system, try installing a new bulb.
