MPA III Power source | 21 January, 2009

Seem to be having difficulty with a MPA power source,it powers itself down every now and then. I have changed the relays nc4d and nc2d seems to work for a while but then it rears it's ugly head again, has anybody got any ideas or schematics as the manual is partialy in Jap.

Hi Mark. What year is the machine from? Do you mean that the electrical drawing are in Japanese? Do you have an external transformator?

The MPA is jul 94 it has a transformer. The drawing is just a picture of the power source box.

Ok. As you know the machines changed a bit after 95 due to CE regulations.

There are no drawing on board/box level in Panasert machines.

However normaly i`ts the 100 volts thats "shorting out" the machine and shuts it down. Check all cooling fans around the machine if one is dead or unormaly warm it can short the machine. In all the control boxes for X,Y ,Panadac 783 and so on there is also cooling fans dont forget to check them.

If you find one thats looks suspicius simply switch off the machine and unplug it.
