Autoprogram 5.31 Manual for Quad IIc | 8 October, 2008

I having trouble with the Quad IIc. After manually teaching a program at the machine, I upload to save it, then when I go to "Run System", it downloads the program, but then an error comes up saying "Fiducials not taught, press ESC to abort". I've tried several times reteaching them, but I still get that error. I have the software, but I don't have the manual for Autoprogram 5.31 and I forgot how to use it because it's been so long ago. If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it.

When in the fiducial teach screen check to see if the "Fiducial Data from Autoprogram" box is checked. If this program was not generated from Autoprogram this box should not be checked.

You need to check and see what you have 'y' set to in teach fiducials. Make sure you have only 1 with a 'y'(panel or multi-image fids)....then teach the appropriate one.

I don't have that as an option. I'm using 5.31 version.

I only have 'Y' in the "Global Fiducial Correction" box , but it still gives me the error of "Fiducials not taught". Any more suggestions?

Was the board programmed using Autoprogram or did you hand program it? What version of Central Controller are you running.

In the teach menu of Central controller and under Teach Board Fiducials there should be 6 options. Turn on Global Fiducial Correction by putting a Y in the box. Make sure all others including "Fiducial Data from Autoprogram" have an N in the box. Use the F4 key to teach the panel fiducials and you should be good.

I knew I was doing everything right! I haven't forgot after all. That's exactly what I did, but I still get the error of "Fiducials not taught". I thought that maybe I was forgetting something, but that's not the case :( Maybe I have a bug in my software....thanks for the help anyways.

ok....couple of other questions first......does your machine say MVS when entering into central controller? After you teach your fiducials...Are you entering out of the screen....if you hit escape it doesnt save what you have done.
