Hi! May be somebody help me with links to materials or document`s for assign separate (separate room) installation of cleaning equipment from all another SMT line. p.s. some managers of my company want to install solvent based cleaning units in same room as main SMT process and soldering line.

Huh, Are you asking to keep SMT and a cleaning unit for the boards in seperate rooms? That is not needed if that is what you are asking. But, I dont know the size of the room you are referring too so I dont know. We actually have our wash in the same room with our SMT lines as it helps put moisture into the air.

We agree with Mark. Why do you want to schlep your boards to another part of the plant, clean them, and schlep them back to the process? Not value added that schlepping stuff.
