I was just wondering if anybody has noticed a greenish/muddy color to their solder. It is just a very thin layer that can be easily be skimmed away but comes back shortly, I was just wondering if this an indication of a contaminated solder pot, we have only been using this new wave and lead free for 3 months or so. Is this normal?

I would not really say green, but muddy, yes. It does not look like tin/lead dross. You should not see it on you solder joints though.

Agreed, ours looks a little yellow at times and purple at others. All element levels are well within specs. Joints are perfect, this is good stuff....

If you is a QE, it is bad. If you is a PE, this OK.
