Bottom Entry Through-Board Stockets

We are running a proto using the Zierick Bottom Entry Through-Board Stockets.

Anyone currently using these or the 1280 design? My question is they over this part on tape and reel and wanted to know how you pick the part up? I got the samples for the proto in bulk and will hand place; but wanted to know how they could offer a hallow part on tape and reel? I am assuming they would place a Kapton dot on the top of the parts, but thought I would see if anyone is using this part or something similar.
