is any body very good in programming for hsp4796a or hsp4796b. i am stuck in one thing and want any body to help me out. the problem is i am using alternate feeder alonghwith alternate carrige. i want machine to go on alternate feeder first and if it could'nt find components from that feeder than it go to alternate carrige. is it possible????? please help me out....

Set FEEDER AXIS in the box of the label ALTERNATE MODE at the OPERATION DATA display. ( to get there go to PROGRAM EDIT/OPERATION DATA/ then press next page.

For reference look in your operation manual 3.7 ALTERNATE MODE.

I could be wrong but I think the use for alternate feeder axis is a way of stopping the carriage so it does not always return to home every time an error condition exist. Saves on time and wear and tear on the machine. As for alternate carriage, I don't know if you can get parts from C2 when C1 runs out or vice versa.

thank you very much for your advice. there was only one option i beleive that should work, i have tried that option today, but still the machine goes to the alternate carrige instead of alternate feeder. the option was in operation mode, alternate feeder axis, there was an option of individual feeder enable/disable. i have tried to disable the the other carrige feeder, but the machine still goes to that carrige and tring to find out the components and once it reach on that feeder, because that feeder was disabled, an massage came up that enable the feeder, press ready and than start. if u have any other clue, i will be much appreciated.

thank you for your rely. i think you are right. but there may be an option. i have ask from universal people the other day. they said, they will check from their engineers/highly qualified people and than reply. let see what they suggest.
