Yes, I realize the odds of anyone having any experience with these things is limited but I have to start somewhere.

Can anyone with knowledge of model TRM-SMD give me a holler? I have some questions about how they were set up at the factory, specifically with respect to the drying chamber. I think ours may have been modified, and not in a sensible manner. Thanks.

Had a Treiber in a past live. Had a standard air knife in the first section and then a turbine blower with a stainless steel air knife with about 15-horse motor. Had some problems with bearing on the turbine Make sure the exhaust hot air doesn't condense in the piping and run back down on top of the boards.

Our problem is with the chamber beneath the drying section, where the blower is. The drying section vents directly into the chamber beneath it where the blower intake is, which is great for equalizing pressure but really counter to presenting dry air to the boards.

It also pulls all of the airborn moisture into that chamber, which then is absorbed into the egg crate foam, which becomes saturated and starts to drip. Seems like a design destined to fail. We end up with a puddle on the floor, hence, my secondary containment thread. :(

Sorry, can�t help much as my memory is getting dim. It seems that the first stage took place with a small blower after/during the time the board went thru a heater module. Can�t remember were the intake for this blower was. It seems to me that the turbine had a filter like a diesel truck that was mounted outside the cabinet. Anyway don�t remember any puddles
