SUZUKI Pick and Place Machine | 1 June, 2006

I have a Suzuki vision machine with 4 heads (SMT-1000VL). This machine is using the camera to inspect the nozzels (4 sets) in the nozzel tray changer every time it is going to change the nozzel(s) in the 4 heads. The problem I have is now the machine got stuck at the first set of nozzel inspection with an error message "Nozzel setting error". There is no instructions of nozzel setting in the manual and there is no English support from where I bought the machine. Can some one help?

Hi netellink,

I am not familiar with suzuki machines, but it usually works that way. There is a sign on the nozzle(it could be dots or lines...)and a recognition file for it. So you have to check:

- if the sign the machine is looking for is damaged or dirty or missing - check and clean the optical system(mirrors, camera lens..)

-find the recognition file responsible for it and change it.
