Part not available RoHS Compliant

Hey aj, Well, the quick answer is you're probalbly srewed if the customs agents find out that your product isn't RoHS compliant or if yor competition rats you out. I wouldn't bet on any exemptions for consumer goods for quite awhile if ever. The more complex answer is to read through the directive to see if your product is exempt or not and to asses the penaties of each EU member state to see if it is "Worth" shipping a non-RoHS compliant product into the EU. As for my companies stance, we aren't taking the risk. Jay
