What is the best or ideal cleaning method for wave solder pallets? I have been using iso prop and am not sure if this is the cause for having brittle wall material. I wouldn't think alcohol would degrade the durastone material. Most of my pallets have a wall thickness of .030 around the opening. Optimizing the PCB layout is not always an option. Comments?

Hi John,

Are you talking about cleaning the pallets after running to store them? or during production? well in any case...I recently started to use this cleaning solution "Cybersolv" from Kyzen. It is water soluble and also can be used instead of IPA in the finger cleaners...It removes flux residues very well from machines and everywhere. I use it also to clean my wave rider since I cannot wash it...

Good luck... George
