Automated Conformal Coating Process Control | 7 March, 2006

Hi, I have a PVA conformal coating machine. Does anyone out there have a method to control the process once it is in the automated mode?

my problem is that eventually the coating gets into the keep out areas a little bit and causes issues. is anyone using a sampling plan to do process control?

I qualify the first board after programming, but once the process goes into the operators hands, it causes the process to go out of control (mostly due to misregistration of the boards into the pallets), and sometimes due to a small change in pressure of the incoming coating tanks.
