If I was to try and repair the board, I too would opt to use an adhesive and a press. I try not to use super glue for anything though, instead I would probably use a thin (low viscosity) epoxy that doesn't turn brittle after it sets. I would use a press (or clamps), and then clean up the edges after the epoxy has set.

If this is new product, I would reserve it for a demo, refurb, or sample unit.
