IP3 head 1 not placing parts | 21 October, 2008

Head 1 is not placing the parts in production. Same component is placed by head 2. Head 1 camera is camera 12 type and head 2 camera is type 8. Machine re-set done resent proper data and interchanged cameara still same problem was foundd in head 1.

Calibation is done for the both the heads and no improvement found. Head 1 resolution jig is measured properly and nozzle centering is also measured with trace ON and found verygood.

What is making component to fail in head 1 only.tried vision type 10 for 1206 components and 254 for many parts no improvements found.

Hey,

Are you having a problem with only 1 component from head 1 or all components on head 1?

Thanks,

Dax

What error displayed after the vision process? If all the parts processed at Head 1 did not pass the vision, try to adjust the scan speed of the camera1. kindly send the error code.

Jep

1CA64011 and 1CAFE011 UsedBy Display 1CA??011 Cause The Vision_type in part data is expressed using hexadecimal notation ("??"). If "??" equals 1E, 64, 78, 79, AC, or FE then boundary detection could not begin because the nozzle was bent. The image lies outside the scan area. If "??" equals 7C, 82, 83, 98, 9D or B4 this indicates that the leads could not be acquired from the body and background. If "??" equals 8C, E6, E7 or E9 there are too few leads described in part data. If "??" equal F0, F1 or F2 then model size exceeds the tolerance range. Remedy If "??" equals 1E, 64, 78, 79, AC or FE then either the nozzle center of rotation does not conform with the image of the nozzle or the image lies outside of the scan area. Make sure the nozzle is not bent. Or in the case that the image lies outside of the camera field of vision, enlarge the scan area. If "??" equals 7C, 82, 83, 98, 9D or B4 this signifies that the body could not be distinguishedor separated from the leads. Input the Lead_brightness in part data. If "??" equals 8C, E6, E7 or E9 there are too ew leads described in part data and the positioning phase could not be carried out. Correct the part data. If "??" equal F0, F1 or F2 then check the model size. Create a model to reduce the size of the circumscribed square outline for the entire model. We have changed the camera cables (interchange)Changed the vision Card ,Vision card worked fine in other machine. parts are different parts like SOIC and many more in the same machine these parts are working fine. this is the working machine sudden after reboot this error started.

Light Units are replaced with new if the problem of lights then it will not vision process the nozzle center measrement and resolution Jigs too..

Jig is meauring in trace mode and identifiying all leads which are fine fitch.

But a 1206 resistor is also failling in both front and back light.

-Proper Data Value in Machine ID was 810 which caused the Head 1 Camera problem. By changing this value to 4112 as per our old record of Feb 2007 proper data the problem was resolved.
