The Model CTI60 provides safe compaction and economical retrieval of valuable hazardous chemical liquids and hazardous waste materials. The CTI 8560 compactor features an innovative, easy-to-use programmable logic controller unlike any other compactor in its class. The safest crush method in the industry (speed, force, “continuous push, gas purge, gas filtration and liquid extraction) combined with the customizable program safely handles the unique characteristics of your hazardous materials.

STANDARD FEATURES
• 60,000 lbs. of compaction force
• CTI’s patented Zero Tolerance Compaction Chamber is completely enclosed and provides support to the drum to minimize potential damage or distortion
• Microprocessor controller governs and monitors compactor operating status and safety features. Includes the hold-down cycle which helps destroy memory (springback) of the waste, maximizing compaction results
• The CTI “Quick Chute allows waste to be loaded directly into the drum without opening the main chamber door, minimizing operator exposure to the waste
• The entire unit, including all hydraulic and electrical components, is enclosed in stainless steel which enhances the safety of the operator and prevents incidental contact with other equipment such as a forklift
• The stainless steel skin also provides for easy cleanup, long life and quiet operation (55 decibels)
• Energy efficient two stage hydraulics require only 12 gallons of fluid and prolong component life
• Chromed steel compacting platen is 2″ thick and is supported by 2 (two) 2″ chromed steel guide rods, minimizing potential platen, piston and seal damage due to uneven loading
• Keyed power switch precludes unauthorized use and keyed side access panels prevent tampering and unauthorized maintenance
• Indicator lights, (e.g. power on, doors closed, ram up/down, drum full, etc.) allow the operator to ascertain the status of the compactor at all times
• Drum bottom anvil supports the recessed bottom of the drum and along with the zero tolerance chamber allow for perfect positioning of the drum under the platen
